Brisket and popovers

We treated my sister Tera, our friend Sean and ourselves to a brisket dinner, popovers, black-eyed peas and a baby arugula salad. It was a feast. I must admit though that I'm a bit dissappointed that there are no left-overs for me to eat today for lunch! We drank a cab from Napa. No dessert, no appetizers - it was the easiest dinner party I've ever thrown!
