I wasn't in the mood to do anything yesterday including cook, but actually pulled off a pretty good dinner. We bbq'ed skewers of shrimp (seasoned with ancho chili powder, caraway seeds, garlic and pepper)tightly alternating with andouille sausage, halibut with curry powder and canned black beans seasoned with cumin, sour cream and red onions. We drank a viogner blend from Australia! It was funny because orignally we were using Chorizo for the shrimp skewers but I guess we were using the wrong type of Chorizo because it was really crumbly and wouldn't slice neatly. Hmmm!
