Late start

We got a late start on dinner last night (walking to the grocery store at 8pm...) -- I think we were both tired and unmotivated to do anything but we had some nice, plump, juicy figs and some veal scallopini from the Ferry Building in the fridge that were waiting to be cooked.

So, we whipped up a very yummy Prosciutto-Wrapped Figs Stuffed with Goat Cheese Salad (inspired by Chez Papa in Poterero Hill), some sauteed brocili and some veal involtini's with mozarella, chopped tomatoes and herbs. They were delicious. Kevin's wrapping of the involtini's was a different story - after about the third one, he finally got the hang of it though!
