I feel kind of bad every time I eat lamb because they are just about the cutest darn animals on earth. However, I still eat it and love it. We had a rack of lamb last night coated in mustard, caraway and cumin seeds, served with blanched haricot vert and a salad. So healthy if you ignore what we had as a starter...homemade rye bread with duck rillette and tapenade from Whole Foods - Kevin's office is right next store, how convenient! He he. We drank another one of those bottles made as an experiment from an winemaker (who shall not be named because we don't know it) - This time a cab-merlot blend and it was soooooo yummy. I would have thought it was a zinfandel but Kevin thought it had a meatier, earthy finish or something like that. I didn't know what he was talking about but he's always right so I went along with it.
In the process of making a brisket right now. Hmmm, I'm not usually the meat-man so we'll see how it turns out!
