We hosted a dinner party/sleepover with newly engaged Robin and Chuck and Aud and Tom. Considering we didn't start doing any cooking until 5pm and guests were arriving at 6pm (there was a bit of chaos in the kitchen between 5pm-6pm), our 5-course dinner ran smoothly and was a ton of fun! Here was our menu...

Course #1
Gruyere Gougeres (puffed to perfection!)
Pork Rillete with Crostini (the last of the pork leftovers!)
Course #2
Smoked Trout Salad with Frisee
Course #3
Tomato and Basil Soup (served spoonless in the above mini-bowls purchased from Ikea of all places - adorable!!!!!)
Course #4
Portuguese Sausage and Shrimp Kabobs
Corn and Chanterelles (although there were no Chanterelles so we used a mushroom called Maitake)
Course #5
Cheese Course with Humbolt Fog and a raw sheep milk cheese
Berries and ice cream
