We ate cheap, simple and easy last night - simple farfalle pasta with a homemade marinara sauce and Trader Joes meatballs. The sauce was better than usual because I let it cook down for about 45 minutes with a bay leaf in it (along with garlic oil, shallots, garlic, red wine, herbs de provence, red pepper flakes, oregano and of course, Muir Glen tomatoes). We're eating in (and cheap) all week so we can splurge on Friday night!
